We all hold a piece of the universal puzzle. If you or I don’t bring our piece, what is intrinsic in each of us, the whole picture is never realized, never complete and never becomes the masterpiece it is.
The more that we’re different, the more that we’re the same.
Wendy Adams Mendenhall was born, raised and attended many “finishing” schools throughout her educational years. Among her accomplishments, are monumental moments of decision making. “What are you going to do when you grow up?” “An Artist? Nice hobby – get a real profession” were the themes running through her life. After numerous discussions, usually without her participation, questions like “What are we going to do with a child like this?” were coming up continually. Wendy realized that nearly all her dreams and passions would be “finished” off in school if she wasn’t clear about holding on to her perceived “learning disabilities and ill conceived intentions”. Most of this life shaping questioning happened before the age of 12. Given the choices available to “girls” at the time, Wendy recognized she was not drawn to any of the career options. With that recognition, she blurted out to a Vocational Counselor, “I want to be whatever career includes music, art, good food, interesting people and travel“. Upon her declaration, the counselor immediately buzzed for help, placing Wendy in career counseling.
Wendy has traveled a similar path as most of us. She graduated from Junior High, High School, Com Latté (vende size), and College with a degree in BS integrating a wide range of life skills. With an emphasis on Varietology, known today as XTreme liberal arts, Wendy entered the work force. True to her word, Wendy’s variety of vocations have included retail, marketing, administrative assistant, corporate customer representative, anti-trust researcher, wife, motherhood, educator, management, business owner, public relations, graphic designer, coach, maternal physician, divorcee, artist and proud receiptant of the, “What Are You Going To Be When You Grow Up Award”, at age 45. (Awards mentioned in this bio are available at www.taometaversity.com)
Of greatest interest, is the reality that through the years,
Wendy has lived her declaration of vocation at age 12. Wendy has met many interesting people. She has traveled extensively. Her travels have introduced her to other cultures, other religions, other countries as well as other beliefs. She has partaken of marvelous food. And last but not least, through the creation of The Arts Organization, music and art have run deep throughout her life. Shortly after writing this, Wendy was awarded the “Visionary In Youth Award” for recognition of her decree at approximately 12 years of age. In retrospect, she recognized enough of what she was and stayed with it while traveling through the maze of life many years later.
With gratitude to God, Wendy is now participating in the creation of the TAO Metaversity. As in Wendy’s life, the TAO Metaversity’s intent is to help all whom visit the Metaversity to recognize their own inner vision. And in that recognition, regardless of the labyrinth of life that many travel, each individual recognizes that they intrinsically hold what they spent their lives searching for.

[...] I have not defined what The Metaversity is, that has been done, is being done through you. I may enhance, add, bring, whatever, but I may not define it, speak it and call it the TAO Metaversity, until and unless I am thoroughly versed in everything. I am a student of the TAO Metaversity as well as one of its teachers and am the Minister of Support. I feel a great responsibility to maintain the intent of it, the unfettered simplicity and purity of it. About Wendy Mendenhall [...]
