TAO Metaversity project is sacred architecture
which is the form* of sacred it will manifest in. The students, teachers, and community are the architects, vehicles,
seers, channels, students of the sacred that will bring forth the form with which this TAO Metaversity will be manifest. Their relationship to this project, which will be referred to as a *“soil-less garden” throughout this text, helps to determine its balance and ease with which it will be manifested. These students of the sacred are working in service with an intelligence in a co-creative partnership. *For clarification of the term “soil-less garden”, see Nature and Soil-less Gardens page.
The Co-Creative architect/scientist acknowledges that there is an inherent intelligence within all of nature*, it builds a communication bridge that allows him/her to access that intelligence, and then asks nature directly to explain and provide experiential insight to him/her so that he/she may understand “from the horses’ mouth”, (sort of speak) how something works.
This can be acknowledged as intuition, an inner knowing or an innerdimensional conversation. If these students understand where and with whom these conversations come from, they are experiencing the TAO Metaversity at a level of “being”. It is accessed consciously or unconsciously depending on the student. They can experience this relationship when they are aware of a co-creative partnership. They become aware of their part in the co-creative process. They can recognize this co-creative partnership as a conversation they have with the universe, God, source, nature or whatever energy they may access through their own practice(s).
That they recognize this co-creative partnership is most important. I would go as far as to suggest this be implemented into the project’s curriculum. It’s important to begin each class, each time, each thought, each project by acknowledging first of all that this is a co-creative conversation.
This can be done through meditation, prayer, or a number of other processes that invite that additional intelligence in the project to “show itself”. To “show itself” implies, that in the unseen, the project is present already. This is what we are addressing in the sacred, the unseen relationship that is present when we are present in union with source, God, energy, etc.
This is what the TAO Metaversity is about.
It represents a life giving energy. A direct vibrant, life giving energy that not only moves through the buildings and their inhabitants but it also radiates out through the gardens into the surrounding land and impacts all form within that area. The TAO Metaversity is an energy generator. It utilizes the ultimate energy source available to humans. As man and nature work more closely together, “this soil-less garden’s” energy shifts, clarifies and strengthens, creating balance, which in turn makes “the soil-less garden” a finely tuned generator. And the life energy contained within all surrounding form is enhanced that much more. Nothing is separate. We think in terms of energy as a source accessed outside of ourselves.
We talk about sustainable energy, alternative energy etc. The 21st century has been referred to as the energy century. We think that refers to alternative energy solutions commonly associated to the environment outside of ourselves.
I am suggesting it includes the recognition of the inner energy solutions to be implemented into our projects – one of the grandest form is the energy of the co-creative process.
To sum up this point about nature being all form: (excerpts from Machaelle Small Wright’s book, Co-Creative Science)
When we understand that when we speak of nature, we are talking about everything around us. The world of nature is not just relegated to parks, farms, countryside, animals and wilderness. It includes apartment buildings, schools, shopping malls and street corners.
The second important point is that in order for anything to be form, it must have consciousness combined with its order, organization and life vitality. This means that if you are holding some object in your hand and it has order, organization and life vitality, it must also have consciousness—otherwise, it would be beyond form and you would not be able to perceive it under any circumstances. And if it has consciousness, it has intelligence. If it has intelligence, it can communicate.
If we can discover the common bridge between us for communication, we cannot only communicate our ideas and thoughts to this thing in our hand, but it can also communicate its information back to us. And it has something to communicate. It knows what it is, what defines its balance, what it needs to restore and maintain that balance at any given point in time, how it fits and functions in its immediate environments and how it connects with the larger picture—both on this planet and beyond. It is because of the quality and depth of this information that the co-creative architect/scientist/artist etc., seeks a working partnership with nature in every aspect of his or her research and development.”
One of the TAO Metaversity’s functions is to bring awareness of this common
bridge between us for communication to these worlds.
If all of us involved in this co-creative project have at least an awareness of the possibility present for this communication between ourselves and “nature”, this project becomes open to the sacred partnership that is found in much of the sacred through the ages. Regardless of the process used to bring a co-creative partnership into our lives, the recognition that we are not alone brings us more in balance within ourselves as well as around us.
